Haunted House Pizza Delivery
I'm Johnny and delivered Marco's pizza. One Saturday night a call came in around 11:45 and requested a delivery of eight huge pizzas. After around 35 minutes the pizzas were at last done, so I put them in my car and set off toward the location. I was just thinking about a big tip because of late night delivery. I showed up around one o'clock and drove my vehicle up this lofty driveway to an astonishingly enormous house. For some time, I sat in my car and took in everything around me prior to getting out. It was night time, darkness and deep silence spread everywhere, no one was around in that area, and I was a little scared.
This haunted house was situated out in the center up on the slope, and looked nice. The front yard was in horrible shape. It seemed as though no one was home and the lights in the house were off.As I was strolling up the walkway to the door I saw that the grass around me was higher and hadn't been cut for a while.
I was going to ring the doorbell when I saw a piece of paper taped to the door.
DEAR PIZZA BOY,
PLEASE COME IN. DO NOT RING THE DOORBELL.
THANK YOU!
After reading this paper, I was sure that something fishy was going on now.
After a short time ,I heard a voice say something from inside the house.
"Come in!" somebody yelled.
The voice certainly came from a lady, yet she sounded far away like she was on the contrary side of the house. I returned to the door and thumped once more.
“Come in please. I’m upstairs.” The lady's voice hollered.
I slowly entered. There were heaps of trash everywhere inside the house and hadn't been cleaned for quite a while.
I heard the voice once more, it was coming from the top steps yet I was unable to see anyone.
"I'll be down in a moment." She said. Just this time it didn't sound right.
Her voice didn't sound natural. It seemed like a man doing an imitation of a lady's voice.
I left the pizzas on the table and right as I was leaving the house I saw a shadowy figure dart across the sidewalk into the high grass covering the yard. Everything was dark out, so I could scarcely make out the figure of something crouching in the yard.
The thing had a little head. Scarcely greater than that of a child, yet the rest of its body seemed as though it had a place with a completely mature man. I upheld into the house and shut the door, locking it firmly.
I left my cell in the car. I was totally screwed, and discovered another exit. I pushed the door and it squeaked open.
There was breaking glass noise behind me and I found the light was sparkling close to the front door.
“I know you’re in here,” the voice boomed from the lobby no longer sounding anything like a lady.
I entered the room and shut the door. A few candles were burning all through the room, their wax framing puddles around the floor from overuse. A pentagram was scribbled on the floor with blood, and there was an instinctive smell all through the room that burned my nose and made my eyes water. A seat was set in the pentagram with a pile of something lying in the seat spilling blood everywhere on the ground.
Just as I heard the door opening up behind me, I ran towards the window.
The glass broke around me and I felt a few sharp pains all through my body as shards of glass cut pieces of my arms and face. I hit the ground hard and ran around to the front of the house. I thought back possibly once to check whether I was being chased, however nobody followed me.
I saw the briefest look at a sort remaining behind the window and made out his heavy chuckling from across the yard.
I started the car and looked back in the mirror. The front door of the house was open.
When I was far enough away from the house, I called an emergency. Everything was just one big blur. I could recall these small snip bits of information.
Most of my face made it out pretty unscathed, and seventy stitches throughout my body.
I'm still too scared to even think about dozing under a lot of stress from that time and it was one of the most exceedingly awful haunted pizza deliveries in my life.
