Begunkodor is located in West Bengal of the Indian state that covers the area of Begunkodor and Jhalda. Begunkodor Station is among the top haunted railway stations in India. People who visited the station witnessed that a woman wearing a “White Saree” used to haunt this station. Some of the believers thought it so that she was crept under a train in a “train accident”, while some others report that she suicides on the railway track. The reason behind haunting the station is, she did not find peace after her death. 

Begunkodor due to eyewitnesses of white saree women is known as a “ghost station of  India”. Her creepy shadow resulted in the death of a railway worker. The projection of a lady dancing along the deserted road track was continuously reported until the government banned this station. This remain abandoned for almost 42 years and there was no train for public transport.

The government resumed this station in 2009, by saying these are only superstitions away from reality. This creepy station is the cause of haunting and some people spend their vacations to witness paranormal activities on the station.


Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station, West Bengal


Rabindra Sarobar is a metro station situated in Kolkata and is the most famous station not in Kolkata but the whole of India because it’s the most haunted. As the train at the time of 10:30 PM passes from the station, a ghostly body is found wandering on the railway tracks.

Many suicides have been linked to this deserted station even its the source to pass various passengers on daily basis. The exact shape of the “ghost figure” is not witnessed till now but the station has named it “the land of suicide”. This ghostly figure is reported to be haunting the railway tracks continuously.

A scream of mourning is witnessed in late-night hours, here continuously and most people do not visit that place afterward. Workers also move away from the station after 11 and they have a severe stream of horror. Workers of this station thought it so that late-night if anybody passes through the railway track, the next day his dead body is reported on the site. They thought it so the reason for their death is that ghostly figure haunting late at night.

Barog Station, Shimla


Barog railway station is located in Shimla and it was built by a British Engineer of railway named “Colonel Barog”. It is not a station but a tunnel, Tunnel no 33. This tunnel was assigned for construction to Colonel Barog and he has done it. Unfortunately at its final look, he comes to know that there was a mismeasurement and the final look is not accordingly assigned to him. Indian government punished him and fined him for that false construction. He could not bear the situation and one day when he was out for a walk with his beloved dog shoot himself with his revolver. This incident took place just near the Barog Station. Since that incident, this station involved in many paranormal activities.

Now it is full of paranormal activities and the spirit of the Colonel is reported to be haunting the tunnel. There was a role of his fate for this unfortunate construction of the tunnel that humiliated him behind his coworkers and further penalty by the Government of India. Depression leads him to take suicide as he could not bear that humiliation anymore as he was the mastermind of this project. He was buried outside the tunnel and reported to be haunting the station to find calm.
